Consultations Agreement

Consultation packages expire after the above mentioned times – it is the client’s responsibility to ensure follow up appointments are booked.

Follow on package options are available.

Consultations are via Zoom with initial consultation in-person for clients in Hampshire, UK. Many tests can now be done from the comfort of your home.

Test interpretation for tests ordered from another doctor or clinic – £50 per test such as DUTCH or GI Effects or £50 per each 15 mins.

I am always available for quick chats or emails to discuss any issues in between your consultations. However, if a more extensive ongoing support is needed, this will be charged at £50 per each 15 minutes. Please note that if you have not seen me for 6 months or longer, you will need to book a follow up session.

All of the consultations need to be prepaid at booking. Payment options are possible, please email to discuss.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations or rescheduling of an appointment must be done at least 48 hours before any appointment. If an appointment is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, 50% fee will be incurred. If an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours or not attended, a 100% fee will be charged. If you are late for an appointment, the session will still end at the arranged time.

Please also note the following

– It is confidential that you are a client of Magda Jenkins, as well as what you discuss in your sessions.

– Magda Jenkins keeps a record of your name, contact details, dates, times of appointments, and information provided on forms such as your health information, on a password protected system.

– You are responsible for contacting your GP or specialist about any health concerns you may have. Please advise your GP of the Nutritional Therapy protocol you will be following. Please also advise any other complementary medicine practitioners you are consulting to ensure there is no overlap.

– It is important you let Magda Jenkins know about any medical diagnosis you have received and any prescription medications, herbal or food supplements, or over the counter medication you are taking as it may affect your Nutritional Therapy plan. I recommend that you book a consultation to ensure a correct and safe review of your supplements. Magda Jenkins does not accept liability for any complications experienced as a result of your failure to disclose any medication you may be taking during your plan which may reasonably interfere or react with products recommended in your Nutritional Therapy programme.

– If you need to discuss new condition or test results, please book an appointment as this requires a discussion and cannot be interpreted via email.

– Your Nutritional Therapy plan will have a time frame until review and you should not continue with all recommendations once this has elapsed as they may no longer be appropriate for you. Recommendations will be for a 2-6 weeks period, unless otherwise specified.

– The degree of benefit obtainable from nutritional Therapy may vary between clients with similar health problems. Practitioners consider each individual to be unique and recommend personalised nutrition and lifestyle programmes rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach.

– Nutritional Therapists are not permitted to diagnose, or claim to treat, medical conditions.

– Nutritional Therapy is not a substitute for professional medical advice and/or treatment.

– Your Nutritional Therapist (Magda Jenkins) may recommend food supplements and/or functional testing as part of your Nutritional Therapy programme and may receive a commission on these products and services.

– Standards of professional practice in Nutritional Therapy are governed by the CNHC Code of Conduct.
